What is a Proof of Concept?

A proof of concept model is usually a simple prototype that demonstrates that the basic intended functionality of a product is possible.  Before this stage, the utility of the product is largely based on a hypothesis. A more complete definition:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof_of_concept

About the blog

I started writing Proof of Concept to share lessons learned and thoughts about product management as well as what it takes for an organization to deliver a high-quality product to market, especially in a lean environment.  Overall, I don’t think that product management needs to be overly complex, but it requires careful analysis, a realistic perspective, effective communication, and a clear focus on customer needs.

Hope you enjoy!  I look forward to your comments and feedback.
